In a recent article by Brad Stone that was published: September 26, 2009 on the New York Times website, he talks about encouraging users to share his articles on many of the social networking sites, such as Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin.
An excerpt of the article is listed below:

Matt Cutts talks about Page Rank
Matt Cutts talks about Page Rank
Hey Guy’s and Gal’s,
I just recently found this article on www.Alaisterlow.com where Matt talks about Google Page Rank and some other nifty little tidbits that you may be interest in.
Many people argue about which platform is better to blog on in terms of SEO and Google rankings. In my opinion Wordpress is the best option. A lot of the work is done for you and with the right plugins all you need to do is fill in some information. I have a great video here for you.
It is a presentation by Matt Cutts who is on the SPAM at Google. He shares with everyone the pros and cons of using Wordpress in terms of ranking on Google. The video is about 45 minutes but definitely worth your time. There is a lot of great gems here so make sure you check it out.
Let me know your thoughts on the matter, I’d be interested in what you have to say.
Until next time, have a wonderful day.
Timothy
