A Thanksgiving Blessing…
Thanksgiving, a time for reflection…
-by Tim Caron
Hi Everyone,
I’d like to take this time to say thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being a part of my life.
I know that this might sound a little out of the ordinary but, I am very grateful for all of you who have visited my website, sent emails about their website needs and concerns, and all of you who have followed me via Twitter at @TimothyCaron.
Many of you know that I run a prison ministry over at Prison-Ministries.info where I post daily devotionals and other information about the needs and concerns of inmates that are pending release from our many jails and institutions across the state of Massachusetts.
Letters pour in on a regular basis asking for my help and support, for which I am truly overwhelmed, but it has been a blessing to work with so many inmates and their families, find solutions to the ever pressing needs of finding a home, support groups, clothing and food.
But what stirs my heart most is when I finally get the opportunity to meet these people and their families face to face and join with them in prayer and thanksgiving.
This Thanksgiving, I’ll be spending time at Ginny’s Thrift shop on Mechanic Street in downtown Leominster where Ginny and her family open the doors of her shop and feed the homeless and many others who don’t have family or have been down on there luck, due to the economic downturn in our area.
This in itself is a blessing.
What are you doing this Thanksgiving? Are you spending it with family and friends? If you live in the Leominster area stop in and see us at Ginny’s Thrift Shop on Mechanic Street. I’d love to see you.
In closing I’d like to ask you a question?
1. What does thanksgiving mean to you?
Until next time, may this day of Thanksgiving be a blessing to you and your family.
May the Lord richly bless you on this glorious day of the Lord.
Tim
